Projects: fall

Carmen Andretta graduated in 2004 from the Italian Design school in Padua.

During her high school years she collaborated with several companies, among which: Roncato Valigerie, Atala and Lagostina. Moreover, she took part in two workshops for Firme di Vetro and Chicco Artsana.

She later gained professional experience at several furniture and lighting design studios, such as Worksstudio and Lino Codato Designer.

During those years, she also funded, together with two of her schoolmates, the “SSF Cantiere Creativo” design group.

With her group, she took part in several contests, and obtained the 3rd place with the project “ski-cha” at the “Idee per il Mobile” (Ideas for the furniture) contest. Other projects were displayed during important events such as the “Designer per l’Infanzia”(designer for the Childhood) exhibition, in Tortona, during the 2007 Salone del Mobile in Milan; and the ParCasa project, that was displayed at the pavilion “Disegnato in Italia” (Designed in Italy) at the Padua fair in 2006.

Carmen is currently working for Axia, a bathroom furniture company.
